So we went to the "Japanese Friendship Garden" in San Jose, CA yesterday, and I have to say, it was AWESOME. Even though I forgot to bring the long lens on my dSLR camera, the pictures still turned out really well. I got a few good pictures to share too.
It wasn't our first time going there, but it was enjoyable nonetheless. We were going to go to Napa Valley that day, but all of us woke up too late.
So...my review of the Japanese Friendship Garden:
Pros: awesome scenery, once you go in you can't help but notice the breathtaking scenery. No wonder the Japanese would sometimes just sit in their backyard and just relax. It is simply AMAZING. So many interesting plants and trees. So much scenery to take in. We also got to go into the back section of the park too; we didn't get to last time, but last time we saw baby mallard ducks and baby Canadian geese (which I had never seen before.
Cons: The ponds used to be filled with TONS of koi fish and the sight of them swimming around was simply amazing :O But they all died out because of a disease, and we saw none this time :( that's the only downside though...
Some pictures:

Bee's nest, right before we went into the garden.

This was an interesting bridge in the garden

An interesting tree...

An island that looks suspiciously like a turtle...

Some ducks that swam up to us thinking we had food :P

Japanese style building of some sort; it was cool so I took a pic of it x3 (ugh...me and my impulses...but I'm glad I did lol)
railroad tracks...leading to who knows where
From the pictures you could probably tell this was a beautiful place, and it was <3 just wish there was more wildlife there. Oh well :P it is, after all, just a garden xD
